Washingtons Crossing 2011 : The images in this gallery are from the crossing of Christmas morning December 25,2011. The currents were very strong and made the crews work hard to cross the Delaware River into New Jersey. Not only was the re enactment a wonderful site to see but it is also a great way to freshen up on your history. This is where you can get a chance to see General George Washington cross the Delaware with his valiant troops that had nothing to lose but everything to gain. For these brave men once they were in the water it was do or die there was not other option. The re enactors that have invested their time and money into this hobby for everyone's enjoyment deserve a big thank you. Please stop by next year to witness this event first hand.

Battle of the Bulge 2012 : The Battle of the Bulge was just one of the many names for this battle. The first was the journalistic description given to the way the Allied front-line bulged inward on wartime news maps, which was reported as the Battle of the Bulge. The battle was militarily defined as the Ardennes Counteroffensive, which included the German drive and the American effort to contain and later defeat it. Following the war, the U.S. Army issued a campaign citation for its units fighting in northwest Europe at the time. This was called the Ardennes-Alsace campaign and included the Ardennes sector (of the Ardennes Counteroffensive fighting) and units further south in the Alsace sector. The latter units were not involved except for elements sent northward as reinforcements. While Ardennes Counteroffensive is correct military parlance because the official Ardennes-Alsace campaign covers much more than the Ardennes battle region, the most popular description remains simply the Battle of the Bulge, the journalistically-inspired map-based nickname initially applied in contemporary newspaper accounts

St.Patrick's day Parade Philadelphia,PA. 2012 : The Irish in Philadelphia first celebrated St. Patrick's Day 1771, five years before the Declaration of Independence was signed! The first documented St. Patrick's Day Celebration Parade in Philadelphia was held in 1771, celebrating over 240 continuous years of celebrations. This parade is the 2nd oldest Parade in the Country, topped only by the New York City Parade which started in 1766.

27 th TD BANK PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP : The Philadelphia International Championship is an annual bicycle race held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is described as "America's top international cycling classic, and one of the richest and most prestigious one day races outside of Europe." It is one of the longest single-day races in the U.S. at 251 kilometres (156 mi). The men's event is ranked 1.HC by the International Cycling Union (UCI), the sport's governing body, which makes it the highest ranking single-day race in the Western Hemisphere. It is part of the UCI America Tour. Images are from June 05 ,2011 race. The race has existed since 1985, but its name has changed a number of times, because of the changing of names of its corporate sponsors, due to bank mergers and acquisitions. The title sponsor was originally CoreStates Bank, followed by First Union Bank in 1998, then Wachovia Bank in 2002. In November 2005, Wachovia withdrew its sponsorship. With assistance from former Philadelphia mayor and then-Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell, a corporate sponsor was found in 2006; Commerce Bank made a four-year commitment. Due to its acquisition by Toronto-Dominion Bank in 2007, Commerce Bank became TD Bank in 2008. The Philadelphia International Championship has become the final leg of a one-week, 3-race circuit called the TD Bank Triple Crown of Cycling. The races take place in Lancaster, Reading and Philadelphia. The opening race is the Lancaster Classic, followed four days later by the Reading Classic, with the finale in Philadelphia three days after that.

My name is George and I have been into photography since my early teenager years growing up in Baltimore,Maryland. Since those years I have been lucky enough to travel around the country and most of the world. After serving in the United State Navy, I fuel my passion taking photographs of everything. I find that mundane objects have an interesting story to tell and that is what I intend to bring out in my images.
